Sotherby Spain Trip

June 1st through 10th, 2006

Susan won a trip to Spain for selling Sotherby homes. These pictures are broken up into the 3 major cities we visited which were Malaga, Seville and Madrid. We have another section for Ronda. Here are some bookmarks you can click to get to them more easily:

Malaga, Spain - 3 days

We left DFW on Thursday on Lufthansa headed for Frankfort, Germany. We had a 3 hour or so layover in Frankfort and then we headed out to Malaga, Spain. Here are the pictures we took in the order we took them.

Ronda, Spain

On our way to Seville by bus, we went through Ronda. We stayed about 3-4 hours in Ronda and would have liked a lot more time. It was a great little town. This set if pictures shows some scenery along the way from Malaga to Ronda as well as sights in Ronda. We had a great lunch on the side of a cliff and we have some good pictures of that too.

Seville, Spain - 3 days

From Ronda, we headed to Seville. In addition to eating and sightseeing, we also rented scooters for one of the days and drove the roads with the locals. That was really a blast.

Madrid, Spain - 3 days

We took the bullet train from Seville to Madrid. 550 km in only 2 hours and 10 minutes which is 253 kmh or 157 mph (average speed). We took a bus to the hotel from the train station Madrid.Here are the pictures.
